SUMMARY:Light Up the Village and Holiday Parade
DESCRIPTION:The 37th Annual Light Up Siesta Key and Village Holiday Parade will be held Saturday\, November 26\, 5-9pm. Festive d cor and holiday atmosphere will Light Up Siesta Key. Arrive early for a festive holiday performance by Future of Dance at the Siesta Center Plaza before the parade.\n\n\n\nThe Parade will begin at Avenida del Mare and Beach Road at 5:30 pm traveling north on Beach Road onto Ocean Boulevard into the Village. Local businesses and groups will participate in the parade and welcome Santa to Siesta Key Village.\n\n\n\nSanta will arrive at the Siesta Center immediately following the parade to greet children. Photos may be taken with Santa\, free of charge. Gift bags provided by Beach Bazaar for the first 250 kids to visit Santa. This festive event is sponsored by the Siesta Key Chamber of Commerce\, local businesses\, and friends of Siesta Key. \n\n\n\nDownload event flyer.\n\n\n\nNEW THIS YEAR\n\nJudges will be viewing the entire parade to decide winners in the following categories: \n\n	Most festive\n	Best d cor & lighting\n	Originality\n\nWinners will be announced on Monday\, Nov. 28 on the Chamber's Facebook page and will receive a commemorative trophy and bragging rights! View Judging criteria.\n\n\n\nParade unit entry has sold out.\n\n\n\nFree public transportation provided courtesy of the Siesta Key Breeze Trolley between Turtle Beach and Siesta Key Village (with multiple stops along the route including Siesta Beach) making it easy for all to participate in the festivities.
